Johnny Howell, a long-time resident of Vail, has been serving mountain athletes for over 18 years in the Vail Valley. He earned his Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, focusing on Sports Medicine. Additionally, Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech.

Working with professional athletes from various sports, including the UFC, NFL, MLB, Formula 1, and the U.S. ski team, as well as local enthusiasts, Johnny specializes in Sports Medicine Acupuncture to address sports injuries, chronic pain and overall health. His passion for outdoor activities combined with his background in Western bio-medicine allows him to integrate Eastern medicine with Western rehabilitative care.

An active member of "Acupuncturists without Borders," Johnny also volunteers his acupuncture services for "Vail Veterans" and other local charities. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, gardening, and camping.
